Plan a visit to Marysville

Marysville sits on the Steavenson River in the Yarra Ranges, about 100 kilometres north-east of Melbourne. It is the closest snow to the city at Lake Mountain, and a year-round base for waterfalls, forest walks, food and a quiet night in the hills.

The drive takes around two hours via Healesville and the Black Spur. Stay in town, hire gear before you go up the mountain, and check the resort for snow, chains and opening days before you set out.
